I have bought several sets of tires from Big O on Quadra and have been very satisfied each time. The last time deserves mention. After buying some tires that were on sale, the steering wheel would start to wobble after my speed hit 90 kmh. Two attempts at rebalancing the tires did not completely solve the problem so Big O gave me a full credit towards better tires which I have been VERY happy with. Throughout the process the sales people were understanding, helpful and smiling. It is great to know that they really do stand behind their product. They can count on me coming back next time I need tires!
I needed four new tires and after looking around at the competitors they made me feel like my 14" tires were just trailer tires, making me feel bad. I called Big-O after some time and they new exactly what I wanted. They made me feel like a customer rather than a sucker. I went to them three days later when my schedule allowed, and they had my tires installed and my van ready to go out front in one hour as busy as they seemed. They are a smooth running facility and take the time to talk to you and guide you to making the right decision. The staff is very pleasant and easy to deal with. I needed an emergency brake repair yesterday. I had bought tires from Big O in the past, so I was aware that they did mechanical work. They were the closest repair shop to my workplace, so I decided to give them a try. Service was very quick (same morning!), they did what was needed and no more. Lucas explained costs and options first before doing work, and the price was in line with industry standards. Although the business is located downtown and parking is scarce, they agreed to store my vehicle for the day since I had to work until 4 pm.
I am very thankful to have found Victoria's Big O tires location. After being scammed by a dealership in Vancouver the staff at Big O were a refreshing and genuine help. Lucas took the time to explain my cars problems in detail, to review the false documents I received from the dealership and then to later advise me on how to proceed. Technician Connor was also detailed and committed to helping communicate all issues with me. I recommend Big O full heartedly and will be returning for all of my future services. Thank you
Service was excellent. They recommended a tire. I checked out reviews and it rated extremely well, as they suggested it would. Pricing was reasonable so I asked when I could come by. They said, "any time". I arrived 45 minutes later to find them very busy but they fit me right in and I had the car back 45 minutes later. Doesn't get much better than that!
